Bus No: 3

School buses come in all varieties – big yellow buses, small mini vans, ones that reach on time, ones where all kids get a seat – then there is Bus No 3. Our very own “Three Bus”. I lived around 20 kilometres away from my school and it goes without saying that I spent a lot of time in Three Bus. My best friends in school, the funniest incidents, the time of

Wyanad

Bytes were being churned, products were being released, books were being digested and Life continued monotonously. It was time to go off the beaten track again and this time our journey took us to that majestic corner of Kerala called Wyanad.    [![Photo](http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/5137/p6060020tg8.th.jpg "Picture perfect!")](http://img104.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p6060020tg8.jpg)  Bachu, Kurian and I started off from Bangalore

Trust & Betrayal

IMHO friendship, relationships rather any interaction between people can be reduced down to the application of two things – Trust & Betrayal. When you think about it, these are two things that affect a lot on how you react to different social scenarios. To make a relationship work, we tend to improve the trust with someone, while betraying someone else a little. The whole network of our friends & acquaintances are based and

'Pox'-ed out!

The week before last started with a mild headache which developed into a mild fever by end of the day. Tuesday evening saw a tinge of body pain added into the mix. But I woke up in good spirits on Wednesday morning, thinking that the fever had subsided and body pain reduced. I look into the mirror and find that I have grown a few pimples. Then I see a

Two weeks later...

Its been two weeks. I see a lot of changes here and there, but the essence of “home” remains the same. I was in Bangalore for a week and in Trivandrum for another. Bangalore, every where I turn, there is something new. Trivandrum has a few things changed here and there, but overall it is just that same old city! Everybody was also apprehensive of me driving, to say the

250 days in Germany

In the first 22 years of my life, I have never been anywhere far from home. To be precise, never even been beyond the south of the country. And now here I am… 8 months in Europe, having visited 8 countries, experienced cultures totally different from what I am used to… It would not be an understatement to say it was all a life changing experience. So what did I

Trier and a dash into Luxembourg

The main purpose of this particular trip was to meet Anu in Frankfurt. But this was possible only on a Sunday and we had a full Saturday to be planned for. After going through a list of possible points of interest, we zeroed in on Trier. This particular German city, located right at the border with Luxembourg was quite different from other places in the country. I don’t know

Berlin & Magdeburg

Berlin – the capital. It is miles away from Stuttgart, but whats a visit to Germany without at least a peek at Berlin!    [![Alexanderplatz - in the rain](http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/1354/dsc00112wb4.th.jpg)](http://img408.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00112wb4.jpg)  Though they say there never is a bad time to visit Berlin, we certainly did find one :) . It was raining quite bad and we had

Rewired!

This has been waiting in the wings for a long long time… and finally I was able to fight my laziness and present to you the sparkling new design for Rusty.in. The visual changes are not extensive, the changes are mostly behind the scenes. Below are the major changes made, in no particular order: 1.    Almost   XHTML compliant. (Still has 3 errors, working on this) 2. Now runs on

Point to Point with Ryanair

“We are strictly a point to point airline.” says the   conditions apply  text of Ryanair. We managed to find that out the wrong hard way. :( I was supposed to be enjoying a 4-day sojourn in Barcelona rather than blogging from a friends house right now. The flight was scheduled to depart at 1245hrs yesterday. We were on time, passed the security clearance without hassles and waiting our turn to board.
