Venice

This time the trip was to Venice – the queen of the Adriatic, a romantic city of canals, gondolas and paper-masks. After a bit of freshening up at the *Tronchetto* car park where the bus ends, we headed

Rheinfalls

Rheinfalls is a small attraction in Switzerland just a stone’s throw across the border from Germany (literally). We could travel there by train taking just the Baden-Württemberg state ticket and the journey took just two and a half hours from Plochingen. My first time out of Germany also meant it was the first time I had to take my passport out after the airport checks. But all was smooth

Nürburgring!

It was a dream come true for me. Ever since I started watching Formula One, since around 10 years ago, I had always wanted to be there.. to watch and hear the power of those machines, and finally I did that.. and wow! It was an amazing experience. [![](http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/3303/f003mx3.th.jpg "F1")](http://img518.imageshack.us/my.php?image=f003mx3.jpg)9 of us

Trekking in Oberstdorf

Oberstdorf is a skiing and hiking resort right at the edge of the southern German border. It was all a quick plan to visit this place and do some trekking since we didn’t have much else to do last weekend. But it was well worth it. Black Forest and Europa Park

The story of my first trip in Germany, to the beautiful Black Forest.. Schwarzwald! We began from Stuttgart early in the morning. The train journey was a bit long, but fun since I was able to catch up with my friend Anu after a long time. Chit-chatted for long and surprisingly didn’t want the train journey to end! Our first destination was Freiburg, the biggest town in Black Forest.

Ooty and Nelliampathy

Once again, when life seemed to get monotonous, we as usual decided to pack our bags for possibly (hopefully not) our last trip together. The destinations we chose this time were Ooty and Nelliampathy. [![](http://img451.imageshack.us/img451/5469/mettu.th.jpg)](http://img451.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mettu.jpg)We set off on a Friday night, just prior to our last week in college, on a Toyota

Munnar and Marayoor

One of the most beautiful places I have seen is a paradise called Munnar. So, when some of my friends suggested that we go for a trip to the place, I was more than happy to YES. I had been there just once before but I had already fallen in love with it, at first sight. [![Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us](http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/3481/munnarlake9oo.

Aazhimala Beach - The First Trip

Read the Intro first :) It was sometime in July last year. So this one day we had a shortened college day for some reason. Someone suggested we go somewhere. Subhash I think, came up with the idea of a very little known beach called Aazhimala. Our first of those several “dynamic” plans began there. 6 of us squeezed ourselves in my car and 4 more followed in two mobikes. Driving

The Excursion & My Birthday

On Friday we went for a class excursion. We visited the hill stations Kodaikanal and Munnar and finally the theme park 'Dream World'. It was nice to have a break from the usual monotony of college. And we had the fun of our lives! Also had a chance to get to know about my classmates. It changed my total perception about my class (in a very positive manner). We first
