Germany is a land known for castles. But I have not really been to any of them. As you can see I am not really into this castle and palace stuff. However many people have told me Neuschwanstein was different. So I decided what the heck, lets visit it! The main purpose was not to see the city, but anyway we roamed around the place – the old capital of West Germany. It was a bit surprising, the city
The story of my first trip in Germany, to the beautiful Black Forest.. Schwarzwald! We began from Stuttgart early in the morning. The train journey was a bit long, but fun since I was able to catch up with my friend Anu after a long time. Chit-chatted for long and surprisingly didn’t want the train journey to end! Our first destination was Freiburg, the biggest town in Black Forest.
Yesterday was officially the longest day in the year… but that was not what made it special for me. Yesterday was my last official act in college, my last exam. The day I bid goodbye to some of my best friends from college… Also the day in which we had our high school re-union… where too I said bye to some of my buddies. We might never see again (I
Once again, when life seemed to get monotonous, we as usual decided to pack our bags for possibly (hopefully not) our last trip together. The destinations we chose this time were Ooty and Nelliampathy. Here ends four years of my college life. From today no more classes to attend. And pretty soon I will cease to be called 'the college guy'. Four years! I seem to remember my first day like it happened yesterday. The mixed emotions of excitement, fear and happiness of entering into a new world, all still so vivid. And now when everything seemed so settled, its time to go. College
A photo I took yesterday, at Kovalam. The effect of the sea looked awesome. _(http://www.flickr.com/photos/rustyshack/116598236/)
Some snaps of Holi celebrations @ college. Holi is not really celebrated here in the south, but which idiot will waste a chance to paint your friends red, yellow, violet and what not! Hehe. We did have a great time, as is very evident from these pics. One of the most beautiful places I have seen is a paradise called Munnar. So, when some of my friends suggested that we go for a trip to the place, I was more than happy to YES. I had been there just once before but I had already fallen in love with it, at first sight. [![Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us](http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/3481/munnarlake9oo.
Read the Intro first :) It was sometime in July last year. So this one day we had a shortened college day for some reason. Someone suggested we go somewhere. Subhash I think, came up with the idea of a very little known beach called Aazhimala. Our first of those several “dynamic” plans began there. 6 of us squeezed ourselves in my car and 4 more followed in two mobikes. Driving
