Rusty’s Zietgeist 2005

Zeitgeist is something Google does every year. It is a German word that means roughly “spirit of the season”. Google digs deep into its search history, to provide us with very interesting stats about the general trends in the world.

So today was digging into RustyShack’s stats page and decided why not have a Rusty’s Zietgeist! Yeah, I know Google gets a million hits everyday and mine struggles to reach even 150. But I had nothing better to do today. Consider this as an alternate view from the not so lucky less-hits-recieved side of the web. :D

Two quick interpretations? Bill’s OS still rules the PC world and Firefox still lags behind IE. Point 1, hmm, Neutral. Point 2, so sad :(

    Btw, boii2 was just an arbitary moment of silliness that resulted in pointless things. So you could very well remove that link.

    Hehe.. I made that linkbox long time ago, before the wordpress things. i had expected u to improve the silliness at boii2 then. will remove if that’s ur wish.

    my web host provides a control panel “cPanel” that has built-in traffic statistics packages – awstats & webalizer. you can download both of them, but it won’t work with blogspot. :) .. for that you could use a counter from http://extreme-dm.com, which is not as clean but would still work. have a look.
